legal note?

I have a note that was signed over to me for work to be done, in the amount of $900. How do I go about getting it enforced? Or can I? I live in St Petersburg, FL.

If the defendant is in the same county or nearby.... use small claims. It is by far the easiest, cheapest, and best manner to obtain a judgment and move to enforcement, if necessary. (The defendant might not pay on the judgment.)
