I know someone that was on 3 anti depression medicines and her doctor took her off them cold turkey. Now she is in a behavior center because she had deep depression and suicidal thoughts. Common sense tells me you just don't go off this kind of medicine cold turkey. I believe she should have been weaned off it, or given something to replace what she was taking. Does she have a case here?

If if if...

This question cannot be answered without intimate knowledge of all the details in the case. Common sense is not the standard. The standard in a medical malpractice case is what a reasonable physician of the same specialty would have done in this case. If you can prove this doctor violated this standard and thereby caused damage, then you have a case.
