I realize that this question has been asked to many times, but I am new to this site and do not know how to find the correct answer to my questions.
1. I have been off work for over 4 years and was considered disabled by my doctor, I tried to go through the SS process and was denied several times. I could not afford to live any longer without working. So I have a part time job, not enough to live on and not enough to make a settlement with the companies I have credit card debt with. I estimate my debt to be about $25,000.00 I really am not sure what to do, or where to start with this problem.
2. what is the first steps I should take to try to get my credit card issues resolved?
3. Are there any websites that offer information regarding these issues, to someone like me that has no money?
