My ex-husband and I have some realestate that is still in mine and his name. We got a divorce about 4 years ago. I wanted to sell it and he did not. We only owed about 12 more months of payments. I moved out and so did he. He finished paying the house off and has payed taxes on it for the last 3 years. In a spoken agreement I would carry our kids insurance and he payed the house payment cause he wanted to pay it off, then sell it. Well now he is telling me that he is going to sell it and subtract what he has paid on the house in the last couple of years, from my half can he do that.
