Hello everyone,
First time on this...but am curious about several things, but one at a time.....
My sister went in with two other interested partners to buy homes in GA. Long story short..she and her husband decided to buy the others out bc they wanted out, so it seemed. They were approved for a refinance, but found out that they weren't actually on the deed after all......they have been putting money into these two houses for at least 2 years......Since they aren't on the deed, they can't really do anything with the houses, but were mislead by one of the other owners.......what should they do....they have been deceived...I told her that I thought they should do the following:
1. demand all money that has been put into the properties by them since they had been decieved..
2. demand they be put on the deed. (btw, they asked to no avail)
3. take it to small claims court if the others refused to do one of the above.
FYI ~ My sister has been doing all of the leg work, adm., make sure all tenants were happy, properties stayed cleaned and in good working order.
