I received a judgment against me for a car I had repossessed about 1-1/2yrs ago. I do not remember ever being served. Now the court is asking for personal financial info to pass on to the collection company. If I don't fill out the paperwork what would happen? Once a judgment is awarded can I still negotiate a fair pay off price or do I have to pay the judgment amount?

Q: If I don't fill out the paperwork what would happen?

A: You could be hauled into court and forced to answer. Google body attachment.

A: You may certainly try. No one is obligated to negotiate with you.

Go to the courthouse and make a copy of your file. It will show you how you got served.
