joint copyright ???

My brother and I are starting a small business selling T-Shirts and other graphic arts.

I am pretty sure that as the designer and creator of the images I have an automatic copyright for the designs, but I'd like to be sure that we both have this copyright or at least that the copyright will belong to him if I die.

How do we best set this up?
