Criminal Trials, Hearings jail says accidently released me .

Saw I had a court date online, 4 modification of sentence. I was released 5 months ago with no probation/parole on a early kick that the jail was doing. I wasn't notified of the court date by luck happened to see it & showed up to see what it was about, and found out that the sheriff's dept. is in trouble because I wasn't supposed to be released because I caught my case b4 the CA realignment came into effect. I was told at the jail that only people with violent crimes were going to state prison. I had about 80 or so more days to do. The jail was releasing people 120 days or less. The judge told them that he has no jurisdiction to rearrest me but I have another court date.i haven't got in any trouble & question is. How is is right that they do that & send me back then I'll be on parole after. I was told i may have a civil law suite if they rearrest me. Is that true?
