We applied for the immigrant visa under F-4 reference in 2004 for US.....Last monthe the second letter from the NVC came to our relatives house who are presently residing in US and are our primary sponsors and we are asked to submit certain documents within a year.....The problem is regarding the mother's name of the main applicant. In 2004, the application was done using Birth Certificate with name Premada Malo (Applicant's mother)......but the name in the applicants passport is Premoda Sankar Malo........will it be a real problem for completing the immigration application to NVC? The mother of the applicant (Premada Malo) is dead....and we have a court notary registration of her signed agreement that she is the mother of the applicant where the original name Premada Malo is mentioned....and also in the applicant's National ID.....the name is Premada Malo....but only in Passport it is wrong.....will it be a problem in the process of immigration?and what can I do to resolve this problem?
