Sex Crimes, Sex Offenders information on closing felony file

I have had a felony for nearly 20 years ago. It was a sex crime, and I have had nothing from that date. my ex wife was mad at me and said all these things, and I had no idea what to do. I was told the case was dismissed, and told it can be sealed. I do not have the money for such things now being unemployed for several months now. This has all but ruined my life, and gotten me so depressed I am looking into anti depressants. This case was in California. i live in northern Nevada. Thanks for any help or advice on this.
