A family moved onto my street in Matthews, NC in 2018. They are clearly running a painting/landscaping/tree service from the home. The Mecklenburg County Code for home businesses is being violated in several ways. There is no current business that I can find, or the zoning office can find, tired to the address. So the Matthews NC code enforcement officer basically says there is nothing he can do.He is making a visit soon to address the trash issue. Meanwhile we have to put up with employees coming and going, large trucks and equipment parked on the property, and general garbage, etc stored there. It's a mess. I want to put my house on the market soon but can imagine not many people are going to want to live within sight and hearing of that place. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
