I went to prison for 4 years in 1999 and during that time my friend used my credit card, racked up a bill, and left me with bad credit. I have since paid off the card and want reinbursement from my "friend", but she says that the statute of limiations in Texas is 4 years, too long ago for me to sue her for the money. Do I have a claim?
