I am waiting on the i485 (pending status).
I was convicted with a california wet reckless misdemeanor (reduced DUI charge). That was before filling for green card. I had 1 year court probation and a fine. There was no accident or persons involved.
I also got charged for a misdemeanor of vandalism for 400$ or more. This was a misunderstanding with another person and the judge reduced it to a conviction of infraction disturbing the peace. This was after the i485 was filed and before my i140 approved.
I have changed and learned from my mistakes. I am very active in volunteer and non profit organizations and helping my community.
Would those 2 offenses prevail me from having the i485 approved ?
