I really need some input on a billing question

I am reposting this as I never received any advice in the first post.

I had to have all my teeth pulled and get dentures. I went to a place where they provide all denture services. During my first visit I was given a printout of what it was going to cost. Each individual item and the cost for that item is listed on this sheet. The total cost on the Treatment plan was $4546.

Now 2 ½ months later I received another bill saying I owe an additional $1876. I based my decision to have the work done at this place on the cost I was given in the initial appointment. The person giving me this cost supposedly should know how to figure it out shouldn't she? I feel that either she was incompetent or deliberately gave me a lower cost so I would have the work done there.

Do I have to pay this extra amount even though it is more then the original price I was given? I really, really need to know if I have any legal recourse in this matter. I am on disability and paying an extra $1876 would be a real hardship for me.

Any insight would be very helpful.
