I need some advice! I have paid for my mobile home free and clear 5 months ago and my land:no:lord refuses to give me the title. All he gave me were some limited power of attorney papers and says that I HAVE to sign them and get them notorized before he can give me MY title.Now I have never heard of such a thing,but I erally need to know if he can force me to sign the papers legally or not.And whenever I ask him why should I he just says I have to and talks in circles.so basically should i or shouldnt i?Or should I contact my local seceratary of state.By the way I live in Michigan.Any advice anyone could give would be greatly appreciated.Thank You!
