Do you know for certain that the vehicle is equipped with a camera? Not all police cars have them.
Just to throw it out there, if the light was yellow and you had sufficient time and distance to stop then the citation may have been resonable. Typically, your vehicle must already be in the intersection when the light changes to red- but if the officer can testify that you had the time and distance to make the stop and it was unsafe for you to have continued, then the citation is legitimate... and that is why we have courts to sort out the dispute. If you accelerated to "beat the light" then you will likely lose your argument.
To get a copy of the video, or attempt to, contact the court and ask about the process for discovery. You can also check if the intersection has cameras on the lights. That video, if it exists, will show exactly where your vehicle was when the light changed.
