Hi,
I have been living in the US legally about 10 years. After working for 5 years, my company sponsored me to get permanent residenship in 2007. Unfortunatelly, my application was audit and DOL ask for more evidents /supports this year. Due to economic downturn, my company has layed off so many people and decided to withdrawn the sponsorship. I am still working for that company currently. My H1B visa will expire April 2010. I do not know what to do right now. I have a daughter who is a US citizen, she is 4 year old right now. Could I get status adjustment due to lenght of stay in the US and as a parent of a US citizen? Or could I apply permanent residentship without any company sponsorship? I wish that I can remain in the US to work and raise my daughter.
Thank you for the advice. Any sugesstion will be appreciated.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon.
