Has anyone tried using the information from websites claiming they have information to fight speeding tickets? Second if the officer already reduced the speed from 76 to 70 in a 55, do I have any chance of getting it reduced using additional legal means.

An example and one that seems to have been around for a long time is: http://www.motorists.com/

Thanks

Some of these web sites do provide some assistance but, like most other areas, may provide you with information that you can easily get from other sources. You can do a search on the net for how to fight speeding tickets and almost all of it is freely available. Many sites will simply resell to you the same information with language that makes it seem like they are telling you something special.

With regard to your specific situation, we have no idea how fast you were going, the scenario or any of the specifics. You can always attempt to defend yourself by stating that the reduction in speed causes the inability to monitor speed accurately but, like anything else, if you know your argument is weak then it is weak. These sites don't pull magic out of a hat although there is a lot of useful information freely available that we may also include here shortly.
