How does a lawyer accepts a Case of a Client?

Can we file lawsuit against an attorney, who file a
case against us(fr. his client), base on "hear say" and his client has
no concrete documents as an evidence? they are
squatting at our land, and then we sell it, now they
are filing a case against us...
