How do I respond to a Summns - Pettition for Adoption

I was just served papers from my daughter's father and step-mother pettitioning to adopt my daughter. THey filed in the Virginia Beach Circuit Court. I wasn't given any forms to respond to the summons. What do I do? What forms do I use?
