A few years ago my grandmother died. In her will she did not leave an heir to her house and property. The only thing mentioned is that my mother could live on the propery for as long as she wanted or until she found something else. My mother moved to Florida a couple of years ago. I still live here and pay all the bills, receive my mail here. I wish to stay...but I feel like a squatter, even though I've lived here for over five years. What can I do?...HELP!!!

You need to go to the probate court and see if there is a file. If so, it will contain the information. If not, you can file to start probate. If your mother has a life estate, you can live there as long as she is alive with her permission. You are responsible for taxes, maintenance, etc.
