House foreclosed / renter rights?

i rent a room in a house that was sold due to a foreclosure. the sheriff has posted a 72 hour eviction notice. i am a tenant and had no idea of the situation. do i have any rights or is there any way to get a little more time? i cant find a place to live or come up with the money to relocate in 2 days! please help.

Well, the problem is that the house won't be the owner's to rent to you shortly. Didn't you receive other notices concerning the eviction prior to this one?
