I hope someone can give me some advice for this nightmare we are dealing with. To make a long story short....We bought a honeymoon at Sandals for April 23. We applied for our passports in January. My husband got his, I didn't. I talked to the passport people and they assured me I would have it before the wedding. Days before the wedding it was not here. The passport people said it was the post office who was responsible. I called them, they couldn't tell me anything. They passport had been sent out April 16th priority mail, the expected date of arrival was the 18th. The passport arrived April 23, it was too late. So we lost our honeymoon. There is no reason for this. There has to be a way to get out trip back. It was over $2700. People say we need to sue, but can we?
