I've been on methadone for around a total of 12 years. I've attended the same clinic during that time. Iam an addict. My doctor at this clinic prescribed me neurotons 600 milagrams cause I asked him. I had know idea what I was getting myself into. This doctor and clinic are responsible for my treatment and have failed me by prescribing a medication that was of no need and is easily abused. What can I do? Have health problems associated with this!

It depends entirely on whether there was medical justification based on your symptoms and what you told the doctor to write you the script. I doubt you told the doctor you only needed it so you could get high. Your sobriety is your responsibility. While many doctors will not write a script for certain meds if the patient has a history of addiction, it is not malpractice if they do.
