Can anyone help?

Over a month ago I had two cameras to sell, a video cam and a Canon digital cam. I wanted to raise some cash for a new pc. I took them into work for a colleague to list on ebay for me.
A friend saw them, and wanted them. She asked me how much, and i said that I just wanted enough to buy a good second hand PC
She said that she had a pc for sale, and asked if i would consider a straight swap. The deal was done on New Years Eve. She took cameras, and I had PC
Now, over a month later, she tells me that one of the cameras doesnt work, and that she is unable to sell them, so she wants to either swap back, or she wants me to pay £250 for computer!
I have told her that both cameras were in perfect working order when she had them, and I will not do either, a deals a deal.
I am now being subjected to endless text messages from her and her boyfriend demanding that i either give them the money or the pc. They say that they are coming over to fetch pc one night in the week.
I live alone and feel very intimidated
What should I do?

Yeah, I know you must be scared and not sure what to do.

A deals a deal, and I trust everything worked. And She can't come back and want to untrade the deal, Unless you want too. But why should you?

Don't even think about the "deal" its done and over with. If they come over to you're house and you don't want them there, Call the police.

I mean would'nt you do that anyways if someone came to your home and you told them to leave and they didn't. Same story.

Don't feel intimidated. I would call them or whenever you see them you need to tell them. A deal is a deal. Everything worked fine. If you guys come over here I will call the police. And if you have too get a " no contact order" .

I have done all this already, but it hasnt stopped them
They say that i have no proof of ownership, and as there will be things stored on the hard drive, they are still the legal owners. Threatening to take me to court!

Did you have any sort of paper wrote out? About the deal.

How long have you had the computer. ( how long ago was the deal)

The only thing they could do, which I really dont think will happen! Is small claims court, In which the judge is not stupid. I mean you have the computer and they have the camera(s). It was a legal deal with both of you.

I would not even worry about it.

Yeah you're fine!

If you see or talk to them , Just try not talk to them about anything.
You can't go to jail or anything.

Worse thing that could happen is you'll have to go to court, In which case you can prove what happen. So till then if you even go. DONT WORRY! Like I said if they threaten you, make a police report. If they come to you're home DONT OPEN THE DOOR. Tell them to leave 1 time and call the police.

Im glad, I always tell myself Im a good person and I don't do anybody wrong. Just tell yourself that. :yes:

You know you didnt do anything wrong, its there problem not yours.
