My jurisdiction is: Washington, Clark County
I was put in jail for calling my mother and threatening her. I was in there for about three days. She dropped the chrages and I was given a no contact order. I just recieved mail from the courts saying that the state or the city has now picked up the charges. Im being charged with Count 1 harrassment- DV. I have no idea what that means. Is that bad? Is count 1 the worst? Is there anyway to tell if it is a felony or a misdamenor if Iam going to go to jail? I have no idea what is going on and would really apreciate the help and some answers.
