We bought a property in a very small town and have spent the last month getting moved in. We got the keys from our Realtor and visited the property on the 2nd of April. We weren't here 5 mnutes when a lady stops by and says she owns property adjacent to ours.
She was complaining of water standing on her property. She has a low spot where water collects. She is in her 70's, and is sure that the water is coming from our pool. 1. It has rain water in it as we have yet to have a liner installed. 2. We didn't have water until the 24th as all the plumbing had to be replaced.
She has shown up or called at least 10 times since the 2nd of April. She is rude, condescending, and we are just not answering the door.
Should we report this to our sherrifs office? No amount of being nice is working. The water is not coming from us, but we are at the end of a very long hill, and it has been quite rainy. Sigh. Thank you.
