i am marrying my boyfriend, [a us citizen] soon. we have been living very happy together for a year now. i am currently residing in USA for almost 5 years now. came here legally but overstayed. my major problem is that i have a misdemeanor [theft] i got a DA ticket and did community service. nobody mentioned about deportation and everything... 2years had passed already since that crime and im really scared of what might come out of it since im getting married soon. nobody knows but me about this crime i did, not even my fiancee. it is just i am prone to keeping all my problems to myself... i have been traumatized thinking abt this everyday. regreting everything. this is my first time asking anybody for help. please let me know the whole nine yards of how it works. i think after all these hardships there is a light out there and im excited of my new life here in US. thank you for the help.
