Permanent Residency Green card for family members?

So if my citizen sister apply green card for my mom and after my mom got her green card; Is she able to apply for me (The son) ? Am I able to stay in the US and study if my mom is applying for me? Not through sibling's application?

Yes, as I had written, she can apply for you on the basis of being a LPR and you the child. But she can only apply once she actually has the status, has received the green card, not while she is waiting for it.

Then it depends on how old you are and if married or not, how long it will take. If you are over 21 or married it will take almost as long as if your citizen sister would apply for you.

And no, you cannot stay in the U.S. waiting for the petition to be approved.
