I bought a living room set and washer/dryer when I lived with my ex. I moved out and we stayed together. I left these things at his place. He promised to pay the payments every month, but didn't. (Since April). We just broke up and I want my things back so I can sell them and pay off my credit. He said he will make payments now, but I don't want my credit tied up, and told him he needs to pay in full, or give the items back. He won't. Do I report them as stolen, or take him to small claims?
