Graduated Paralegal Degree

I am a recent graduate with my 2 year paralegal degree. I went to school evenings for the last 3 years to get my degree. I love the work but am finding it difficult finding employment in this field without any experience in the law office setting. I could not do the internship that the school provided because I was working full-time and I have to work full-time to make ends meet. I would even happily agree to volunteer my time and not get paid for the experience I need but that has not worked out since most of the law offices are open 9-5 the hours of my full-time job. Does anyone have any suggestions on what I could do to gain experience?

Flood the lawyers' offices (there are millions in your area) with professional resumes and letters requesting employment.

Keep them short and sweet.

Then call back for appointments.

Ask for after hours appointments and tell them why.
