Permanent Residency gr een card renewal/ US citizenship

I was charged in 2007 with a misdemeanor simple assault, unfortunately I had an altercation with the father of my son when I was pregnant. I didn't do any jail time I had to stay with my sister I went to anger management and they closed the case. now I have to renew for my green card or apply for my US citizenship I was wondering if that's going to affect my green card renewal or my US citizenship. Please help im so scared
