It is company policy to not have anything pluged up behind the register. Well this day they did and i happen to tripped on the cord and hurt my ankle and got an 1st degree sprain. The doctor put me on crutches and now i have a foot brace. The doctor sent me back to work on light duty or the employer can send me back home. Well the employer sent me to work on the southside of where i live at meaning that i have to drive throught a tunnel. Driving through tunnels is something that i dont do. So by me not driving all the way arcoss town, i won't get paid and it will be an unexcused absence. Are they in the wrong to do that and i have a case or I need to get over the whole scared to drive under the tunnel thing?

You have to get over the whole scared to drive under the tunnel thing. If they have work for you within your restrictions and that's where the work is and your restrictions do not prohibit the drive, that's where they can send you.
