The fact that you live on a golf course, you should have expected this from time to time with all the hackers out there...look how bad Tiger was in the Open last week. It would be part of the "charm" of living there. If you know who did it, give them the bill. If not, then if you own the house and the land, then your homeowners pays....but if it is a condo type arrangement you need to read the association agreement. I bet it states in there that you are responsible for glass breakage......if you can't catch the culprit. The golf course isn't paying...they would go broke. I don't think I have much sympathy....sorry.
