getting room mates out?

    we rent our house, on the original lease it says not to sublease rooms. well i did now i am having a hard time getting them out. i am now waiting for the police because she hit me in the face can i get a restraining order against her and what kind of notice needs to be given

    If you were assaulted, you can try the end around the eviction.
    It could be quicker.
    Either way, when the police arrive ask them how you go about getting an order of protection because of the beating and thumping you suffered.
    That will only get rid of one of them, if they are a pair.
    The other one you'll have to evict.
    The BIGGER problem is you violated yoru elase, so it could be that ONLY your landlord can evict them.
    When you tell the landlord about this mess, he might decide to evict the lot of you.
    You have foolishly jeopardized your home, and possibly your safety as you are now living with a crazed, violent, abusive batterer.
