I am a German mom. I lived and studied in the US for 4 years under the F1 visa, until I gave birth to my son in Hawaii. His dad is in the military. My son has a dual citizenship (German and American).
When I had my son I was not able to continue to study full time and had to leave the country within 15 days (according to my college).
I tried to find information about my rights online, but only found that my son will have to be 21 to apply for citizenship for me.
In Germany you are allowed to stay in the country if your child was born there.
Is there anything I can do to get back in the States? Do I have any rights?
