I have an underage possession of alcohol conviction that I acquired when I was 18 and an arrest for domestic violence with the charges of harassment and assault on my record. All of the DV charges were dismissed through a deferred sentence and they were misdemeanor charges to begin with. A psycho-ex trumped up those charges but I am glad they were ultimately dropped 5 years ago. Now I am engaged to a sweet and caring French girl who I wish I could give the world to. Can I obtain a French citizenship through marriage given this police record?
