) You don't know whether a site hasn't stolen the images from another site and you are forced to rely on them that they have not and that they have the rights that they say they do. Can the copyright owner sue you and send you a notice to cease and desist? Yes. Will the web site owner who made the graphics available be liable to pay? Probably, but these are all theoretical situations and will likely not play themselves out. This is your call... in many situations I believe that it is well worth it to pay the money for a good, royalty free CD. Costs you $30-100 and you are free of most headaches!
