Then call one or two, or go visit your local JAG.

Depending on what you need, the US Embassy can sometimes assist you.

You can also speak about the matter with some local attorneys or solicitors in the country where you are now domiciled.

One of those professionals can advise you, and the US Embassy can make recommendations, as can your local contacts where you are.
