I resigned from a job on mid April. After I left, the business lost quite a few clients who no longer wished to do business with the new people who came on board to replace me.
On May 25 over 5 weeks after I left, an aquaintance of mine informed me that she had received a marketing letter inviting her back to use my former employer's services. This letter bore my name and a forgery of my signature. Obviously they are using my name and reputation to lure clients back to their business.
What can I do to make them stop? Do I report them to the authorities? Do I file a law suit?
Please help.
