We contracted a florist for my step-daughters Bat Mitzvah this past weekend.
They were supposed to decorate the service, i.e, floral arrangements, ribbons, boutanaires and corsages, and at the reception there was to be floral arrangements on all of the tables including the cake table and gift table. They have all of our crystal that we purchased as well. They never showed. When I first called, I reached their answering center who informed me that they were backed up and on their way. They never showed a the service. I called upon arriving at the reception where they did not set up as well. Another call later, it comes to find out they had no record. I sopke with the VP Sunday morning who informed me that the girl handling our file quit.
Do I have a case? They were given a $300 dollar deposit, lied, embrassed me in front of my step-daughters family and friends, upset my fiance, and ruined a perfectly good day.
