I need to file a civil law suit for a motor vechile accident that happened on 08-13-2006. My two year statue is about up and I stiil have injuries that may need surgery. I am in california and I need to know if I file a law suit (complaint) my myself with out an attorney on the paper work, can I hire an attorney at a later date if I feel I need one?
