I was falsely accused of domestic violence by my wife. There was no evidence of any kind but I was put in jail. My wife is sorry about falsely accusing me. She thought they would only take me away. She did not realize the life long consequences it is going to have on the line of work I do. She had told the DA the truth but the DA in San Francisco will not drop the charges. I will be going to court next week. I have met with my attorney several times but as he is working on other cases I have not been able to get a sense of what to expect. I have been reading cases on DV and it scary how easy it to convict someone without any evidence. Is there anyone out there that would kindly chat with me about a few concerns. I have already paid the attorney $10,000. I don't have much money left. I have 8 children and I could certainly lose my work if I am convicted.
