Can a case be prosecuted if the complainant in the case is not the person she represented herself to be? She falsified her actual name and replaced it with another name to hide her identity, She is not cooperating with the prosecution. The case has been adjourned 4 times and now the prosecution is moving towards getting testimonies from the arresting officers to prosecute the case of domestic violence. Once they get these testimonies are they going to be admissible if it is made known to the courth that the alleged victim is not who she claimed to be at the time the arrest was made.. Those testimonies will include the alleged victims falsified name . Given the fact that she made false statements and provided misleading information , including providing a false name on public record, will that have any bearing on this case.

No, no bearing at all.

In fact, many people have been convicted of MURDER when the victim couldn't be identified and was simply called "Jane Doe", or "John Doe".

I suggest you stop trying to be your own lawyer.
You're not very effective as a criminal, and you are even worse as a lawyer.
Your job is easy, now.

You just shut up, remain silent, smile real "purty like" at the jury, and do as your nice lawyer directs!
