recently my wife fell at a local clinic, she has a torn disc in her lower back. their insurance company has contacted us and will pick up the medical bills. my question is what about the lost wages. she has been off work for 6 weeks and will be off for at least 4 more. do i ask for her wages now or wait til she is healed?

You should retain an attorney to represent your wife.

Victims aren't wise to deal directly with insurance companies.

Victims who retain attorneys receive three to four times more in settlement money, than do those who choose to represent themselves.

Thanks for the reply army, we are not the type to sue , but i don't want to lose any compensation that we are entitled to. By hiring a lawyer will their insurance also pay for that or do I.

If you retain an attorney, his/her compensation is a percentage of what you receive. It is usually about
one-third of your award.
