I went to bingo at this place of business and won and they gave me a fake hundred dollar bill I went to sheriff department and banks to exchange it no good results so I'm asking do I have a case.

Sorry, federal law gives you no relief for getting stuck with counterfeit money.
If you accept it, its yours, UNLESS the Feds (or local law enforcement) confiscate it when you report it.
If that happens, you don't even have the counterfeit bill.
By the way, don't pass it, or you could end up being charged with a crime, especially since you now know it to be counterfeit.

Okay, enough bad news.
Now for the good news, maybe, for some people.
The loss could be covered by your homeowner's or rental insurance policy, up to $500 or $1,000, depending on the policy and/or insurance company.
Read your policy, or call your insurance agent to see if YOU are covered.
More good news, unlike with most losses, the reimbursement amount typically isn't subject to your policy's deductible.
