I am a resident of NC and got a ticket for failure to stop at a continuos red light.
I would like to appear in court to ask for the points not to be included in the infraction.
Although I am guilty, the only way to get in court is to plead not guilty. The officer said
if I went to court he would work with me. I have no points on my NC record and this ticket
happened in PA, Dauphin county (Hershey, PA). Not sure how much discretion the judge has to reduce the ticket to a fine only. I will talk to the judges office on Monday.
