I am a first time home buyer. I submitted an offer on a home and they accepted. The realtor asked when I would like to close. I said I have no idea I had not done this before. SHE chose 30 days and said we could get an extension if we need it. My bank is taking forever to get back to me on an approval. Now there is a back up offer and the realtor told me I can not get an extension. Do I have any legal rights to fight for an extension? I feel I was misled by this realtor and now she has a better offer and is not willing to negotiate for me.
