yes i have applyed for a job and i had my record exsponged do i have to tell the company about my record. when i applyed for the exspongement they said when it asked if i have ever been arrested say no so can i lose my job for this

You have to tell the truth on job applications.

Expungements are public information and anyone can look them up.

If you lie on a job application, it could possibly be perjury (a crime).

Even if it is not a crime, you would fired immediately if you lied and your employer found out.

Katy, what state are you in? In SOME but by no means all states, the law specifically addresses this question.
