I have a buddy,who works for the US Post Office.He has been employed for 5 years.
He went to a treatment center for booze and drugs 7 months ago and his boss knows of it.
Before he got sober,he took small amounts of money from the post office,and they have now discovered $6000.000 missing.
He is the only one who could have done it,and he is the only suspect.His boss has investigated and turned it over to the finance dept,and her "higher up`s"..
He figures his job is gone,and he is busted.He is considering going to his boss,and fessing up and trying to make arrangements to pay back the money.Should he do this?Should he keep quite?
He is trying to stay sober and if he soon does not get this resolved,he may drink again.
His whole family life is disrupted also.
It was suggested to him to not get in a rush,and talk with a attorney first.
any suggestions?
